Open Water Certification

This is the entry level scuba program that teaches you everything you need to know to go diving on your own.   Upon completion you will receive a plastic photo I.D. card with your open water certification number on it.   The certification is good for life (it’s up to you to stay active).   The card allows you to rent or buy equipment, tanks, and air fills at dive shops worldwide and to board dive boats and tours.   We recommend gaining experience and continuing your education as you seek more challenging SCUBAdventures. 

 

This is an easy four step program which is intense, thorough, and extremely time-efficient.   Working with smaller groups, we proceed with one or two steps each time we meet. 

  These four steps are:

  1. Home Study

  2. Shooting the breeze with the Captain

  3. Pool Party

  4. Fish Play (Open Water Diving)
